Mistbank is a remote fishing village on the Gulf of Kalder, famous in certain circles as the only source of a rare dye for textiles. The dye is made from a scarce type of shell which has to be quarried from nearby cliffsides, and then laboriously processed.

Mistbank is the birthplace of Andreya Pott, a cavalier and well-known member of the Circle of the Glowing Flame. Pott is also the current Sword Master of Krethes.

Mayor Alivya Needler leads the settlement, and is responsible for the shell quarry and dye manufacturing. Mayor Needler is assisted by Zeckus Coppers, a serious and shrewd scholar and expert mathematician.

The Misty River, which runs through Mistbank, is rich in dissolved pungent soda. Using druidic-inspired methods, the soda is “washed” out of the water, giving drinkable water for the community, and a valuable chemical product which is exported. The magic user Alaexa Helms operates this “washing” facility. Helms is also an expert locksmith, and runs a small training facility in town.
