Goldmarsh lies on the Gulf of Kalder near the Pai Wetlands, along a well-travelled secondary road.
It is an active fishing village, and receives quite some traffic with travellers moving between Pai and Beachmarsh.
The charming mayor, Chaerles Waller, seems somewhat out of place in this fishing community – he is always splendidly dressed and prone to bursting into song at the slightest provocation (or assumed invitation).
The first councillor, Jianna Sterne, is probably the most wealthy person in Goldmarsh, as she owns a small fleet of fishing boats and employs almost three dozen fishermen.
From time to time, merchant vessels anchor outside the little harbour and offload goods which are then carted to Pai.
The Grand Enchanter Lynardus Henkeeper was born in Goldmarsh, but he hasn’t returned home for many long decades.
The ruins of the very old tower of a long-forgotten wizard stands on the edge of Goldmarsh.
