1: Lord Mayfin died somewhere in (or over) the Swamp of Azaar just before midnight on 4691 January 02, following a plane shift malfunction. Mayfin was a highly-intelligent and motivated nineteen-year-old necromancer with dark, flowing hair and emerald-green eyes. His body was never recovered. He was much loved and will be missed. In the words of the Libri Septorum: "It is the duty of the living to make meaningful the sacrifices of the dead".
