Roseland has a famous inn, the Rose, run by retired mercenary Arianna Marks, who is also the town elder.
Set deep in the forest, Roseland is known for its exotic woodcrafted items. Novel forms of prinwork are developed by artisans, who flock here for training, inspiration, and expert development.
One of the most skilled prinworkers is Louis Oates, known for elaborate and extremely finely detailed techniques.
