Clearmead Downs is a small settlement in eastern Maiden Wood on the banks of Daenyel’s River. It is known for the high-quality hardwood items that are fashioned here, as well as for the unique pipe tobacco grown in the forest.
The leader of the settlement is Lucoe Bake, a bard of some repute. He is assisted by his wife, the Grand Wizard Aelinea Seemworth.
Guided tours of Maiden Wood are provided by Lilia Barleywine. Members who take such tours wear flowing white robes, in the hopes that they may encounter a Druid from the White Circle, who look after Maiden Wood.
A ruin of an old fortress is located a few kilometres south of the village.
