Spellmount in a remote village east of the Mountains of Lendorn in the hills of the Kascht Forest, on the River of Memory.
Small livestock, vegetables, rock sugar, and brown cotton are its major agricultural products.
Spellmount is famous for its herbal potions, and despite its small size and inaccessible location, the village is very prosperous.
The village is carefully guarded by Aendrus Huntsman (a noted warrior) and the village elder Ashlena Beanman
A fane to Qidra is prominently located in the centre of the village.
The Mountains of Lendorn can be seen towering above the trees of the Kascht; on a particular day of the year, the setting Sun casts a shadow on distant ridges in the shape of the holy symbol of D’Aad. The first sighting of this heralds the start of the Festival of Light and Shade.
A sinkhole appeared on the village outskirts about a century ago; it does not appear to be unstable, and it fills with water during the rainy season.
