Aldbarrow is a mining community in the lower reaches of the Barren Hills. It is known for its manufacture of quality tiles. The best residences and palaces in Kalderesh will use the exquisite tiles made here, for flooring, but particularly for frescoes.

The village is managed by mayor Gaevyn Blue, assisted by first councillor Zachaery Smoker.

Raw materials for producing the tiles are excavated from concretions that are scattered about in the wider Barren Hills area.

Large firing kilns sometimes darken the sky above the village for days on end as the batches of tiles are expertly glazed.
