Greybarrow is a peaceful, mist-shrouded village on the shores of Turtle Sound, 50 km east of Harden. It is isolated from the hurly-burly of the nearby large cities by the Grey Forest.
The waters in Turtle Sound are generally calm, but an underwater mountain ridge makes sailing treacherous for all but the smallest vessels.
Jonaeth Wool, the Council Elder, oversees the settlement’s primary activity: supply of fish and other marine foods to Harden.
The village’s first councillor, Goshwa Bones, is a talented composer of shanties.
Besides fishing and marine-related activities, the village also supports a glazier, brass worker, painter, tilemaker, blacksmith and a lattener.
The village has a chapel, two chantries, three shrines, and an all-gods.
