Reedshore is a little fishing village in a sheltered bay, east of Barforos.
Mayor Logaen Trout, a boatwright, runs the small settlement. The bustling village produces large quantities of salted and pickled fish.
Cirrus wheat, grown slightly inland, and sugarweed, gathered from underwater fields in the bay, are used to produce a fine spirits, reedwine. Production of this valuable export is overseen by Yvan Winnows.
A Qidranian chapel, run by Haddeus Pyne, conducts an annual adulthood ceremony in the White River, which is widely attended. The supplicants and clerics, in their distinctive green tunics, take part in an elaborate procession from the village along the river to a secret location.
A short distance along the coast is an impressive military stronghold, Castle Crylmist, and the Tower of the Ancestors. Crylmist is the ancestral home of the Lethers family. Lord Lyncon Lethers is a devout Razimite. Lord Lethers’ youngest cousin is the famous sculptor Lyam Lethers. Crylmist is a leading combat training centre where aspirant elite soldiers endure an almost-lethal boot camp. The Tower of the Ancestors is home to the Servitors, a militant Razimite force specializing in evocation combat magic.
