A prime war horse stallion, representative of the top-notch war horses bred in Eridale.
Horses of great endurance are bred in the Broad Valley. The herd above have been selected as mounts for light cavalry, and are particularly prized for their speed.

Eridale lies on the Larkborn River, in western Daern, near the Broad Valley.

It is famous for its pure-bred line of horses. Several famous lineages of warhorses, chargers, and racing horses, originate from here. The horses range across the Broad Valley and are bred and managed by some 30 independent stud farmers.

Eridale serves as the primary stud registery for the region. The village is administered by Mayor Nikola Fox. Her first councillor, Nicola Greentree, is a noted bard.

A sizeable military cavalry presence is found in this small settlement; many of the best mounts are purchased for use by cavaliers, paladins, and the cavalry.

The Medical Guild has its prestigious Small Hall here, overseen by Master Doctor Adamus Flag. Guild members wear distinctive purple robes. The Guild Hall is outside the village, and is a circular building constructed around a hot spring. It is popular amongst healers across the nation as a place of advanced study.

A chapel of Qidra, attached to the Medical Guild, hosts a flower festival each spring.

Eridale produces a range of products from agricultural sources: linen (from hempen), hops cloads for brewing, dried mushrooms, nuts and nut oils, and wheat and barley. The largest planted crop, by far, is horse barley.
