Seeton Rest is an abandoned settlement at the mouth of the North River. | |||
It was founded in 4537 by the then Viscount Biche, Lord Silas, shortly after completing Biche Estate in Northriver. | |||
The Viscount built a near-palatial home, with a magnificent rockery, on the beach. He also had two dozen or so cottages erected, out of sight behind a hill, for the labourers. Unfortunately, the Viscount died suddenly before the building was completed. The new Viscount had no interest in pursuing this ambitious venture, and shut down the project. | |||
With funding no longer available, most of the labourers left. A small number of workers remained, but eventually the remoteness and lack of supporting resources forced them to depart. | |||

Seeton Rest is an abandoned settlement at the mouth of the North River.
