Seeton Rest is an abandoned settlement at the mouth of the North River.
It was founded in 4537 by the then Viscount Biche, Lord Silas, shortly after completing Biche Estate in Northriver.
The Viscount built a near-palatial home, with a magnificent rockery, on the beach. He also had two dozen or so cottages erected, out of sight behind a hill, for the labourers. Unfortunately, the Viscount died suddenly before the building was completed. The new Viscount had no interest in pursuing this ambitious venture, and shut down the project.
With funding no longer available, most of the labourers left. A small number of workers remained, but eventually the remoteness and lack of supporting resources forced them to depart.
