Silverston is a fishing village on Barnacle Bay, some 40 km north of the city of Coth-Rom. The village council celebrates the start of autumn each year with a harbour festival.
Mayor Evylann Hennerman is a skilled astrologer and boat pilot. She provides ocean current and weather predictions to the city of Coth-Rom’s harbour master.
Chapels to Oohm and Salaah stand side-by-side in the centre of the village market.
Two retired naval officers, Braddeus Seabreeze and Vincentus Crabb, run an ocean scouting service from their cliff-side fort.
Silverston is otherwise unremarkable, except for being the residence of the Wizard Ewan Barnard, who is adept at veterinary healing and animal lore. As advisor to the King, however, he is rarely in Silverston.
