The Monastery of D’Aad lies 7 km north-east of Linwall, on a spectacular seaside cliff.
Over three centuries old, it was founded on the suggestion of the Honourable Lord Damyan Glass, then the Master of Daernbeck. With King Federic’s support, the monastery was constructed.
It was inaugurated on King Federic’s birthday, and to this day, a festival is held, in conjunction with the village of Linwall, to commemorate these events.
The school and training halls associated with the monastery have become the traditional venue of advanced education for royals and nobles who are devout followers of D’Aad.
The monastery has become known as a centre of learning for the study of divine magic, poetry & literature, and herbalism.
The Prior of the monastery is Holiness Zoe Rocker and the Assistant Prior is Brother Andrus Mast.
