Monastery of Qidra (Bilberry) Toreen Province of Qidra monastery 448 4222

Bilberry Monastery was established in 4446 as a dedicated scriptorium to preserve Qidranian writings and holy music. It lies in the hills of central Duskwood, a short distance from the Royal Road. It is sometimes mistaken for the actual Bilberry Grove.

The monastery is overseen by its prior, Tyago Sandflats, who is an expert sage specializing in divinational and healing plants. Sandflats is also known for several innovations in cartography, and is an advisor at the Brogzin Academy in Coth-Rom.

The well-appointed monastery, housing some 500 people, is a large stone complex with many meditational mazes and is famous for its peaceful gardens. The scriptoria are open-air assemblages, exposed to the elements but protected from damage. The scribes wear vine-patterned green robes. It is believed that an extensive collection of writings on Druidic customs and history are preserved in the monastery.
