Deepsage lies on the coast of Blue Bay, opposite Torbeck. Aldwynne Swamp stretches off to the west.
Farmlands surround the village, extending northwards in a continuous zone to Torbeck. The nearby swamp is an alternate source to unique foodstuffs, including swamp chicken and murkberries. An annual festival in honour of Salaah is held in the swamp.
Village elder Josaeus Maker, a devout Oohmian, is a skilled arrowsmith, specializing in crafting masterpiece long-range flight arrows. Wyaett Barman, a member of the village council, oversees the harvesting of murkberries and the production of murwine.
The eccentric and expert seaman Axelus Shears lives here, a master swashbuckler that is as sharp with his sword as he is with his tongue. He runs a successful boatwright business, inherited from his father.
From time to time, the sorcerer Handyr Colter is seen in the village; his dwelling is a squat stone fortress with its foundation in the sea, a short distance away.
