Greenbarrow is a village at the mouth of the Donnabek, not far from Cordell. Like the other settlements in this region, it supplies goods to the Razimites in the western badlands of the province. Greenbarrow is both a travel hub and an agricultural supply centre.
Plantations extend westward along the Donnabek, mostly of beans, brine wheat, beetroot, and grimble.
Greenbarrow has a remarkably capable harbour, given its population size. The village receives river barges from Donnalaich, and these have to be carefully managed during offloading to avoid congestion. Warehouses line the harbour perimeter. Good are stored for loading on to sea-worthy barges and other craft for transfer to Cordell.
The mayor, Maximo Fishman is a devout Salee, and uses his legal and accounting skills to manage the settlement. He works closely with Samaentha Baskett, a retired adventurer, who runs Greenbarrow harbour. Her meticulous scheduling avoids bottlenecks and congestion during the busiest barging season. First Councillor Horyce Kettle is a boatwright, and his skills are highly prized here.
The Salee Vincynt Silver manages a fane to Salaah, located on the harbour breakwater.
The skilled swordsman Lucus Bayers lives in the village and can often be seen chasing his students up and down the rocky coastline in an effort to keep them fit and battle-ready. The spiritual needs of the students are taken care of by monks from the nearby Monastery of Razim.
Zachar Ferrimen is the local storyteller, and by all accounts his tales are gripping and entertaining. It is hoped that he will soon enter into an agreement with the Niuewe Coerier Incorporation for exclusive rights to distribute his wonderous tales and accounts.
