Darkhollow (originally Dark Hallow) lies centrally on the sweeping plains between Barforos and Sikafor. It is a peaceful herding community on the banks of the Mousebak.

An old chapel to Arawn, attached to the village’s largest inn, may be the origin of the settlement’s name.

Elder Brinna Miller leads the village council. She is one of several ranchers who manage herds of livestock on the plains. A small horse ranch, and large fields of cotton, corn, and hempen, round out the settlement’s economic activity.

A yearly music festival is presented by Janna Stone, a gifted bard and brewer.
