Feybank is a coastal village between Shawnie's Bay and Emerald Bay in south-western Krethes.

Feybank has a small harbour for local fisherman, but the village is predominantly a light-industrial centre for the fur industry. Many buildings are little more than large warehouses and processing areas, since Feybank is known as the source of the finest furs.

Many villagers and seasonal workers are engaged in the procurement and processing of furs. Hunting parties range across the Pai Wetlands to hunt primarily short-tailed giant stoat, ravenous three-eyed swamp goats, and greater spotted minkdogs. The hunters are famously accompanied by snarecrows, a slender tan-coloured breed of dog well-suited for moving across wetlands and swamps. Some hunters skirt the bounds of the Wetwoods in search of red montargs or low-crested taymarks, but this is a deadly pursuit given that the druids of Wetwood are zealous guardians of the forest. Other hunters range as far east as Lake Pai, chasing dagby herds and shillmar deer. In the village, large numbers of rabbits are bred for meat and their fur. Whatever the source of the skins and furs, skilled craftsmen and artisans in Feybank prepare the materials to exacting standards. From here, they are taken to Dromfor and Savimasko for sale, where they are worked into garments and accessories.

The Small Hall of the Guild of Furriers is headquartered in Feybank. It is very active, with many labourers, craftsmen, apprentices and scholars at work. The Master Warden is Natalja Cray, a much-respected leader in her field.

A military compound, housing 100 soldiers and led by Chief Commandant Eryck Winnower, is adjoined to the Small Hall.

A sprawling plaza dominates the centre of the village, with the Guild Hall as the focus.

The town’s civic leader is Mygwell Lander, a retired adventurer who takes a very no-nonsense approach to disorderly conduct.

There is notable traffic through the village from Dromfor to Savimasko and Pai, and as such many small inns and travel lodges are found in Feybank. Quite a few large hostels offer accommodation for seasonal workers and others in need to low-cost living space.

A good deal of road traffic also goes between Feybank and Pai. Despite Feybank’s small harbour, it is increasingly becoming a transport hub for bulk goods to be transported to Pai. Traders sail from Londesh and transfer goods – mainly wine – into small boats for offloading and storage. From there, hauliers cart the goods to Pai.

A wealthy merchant, Iaen Star, is a key player in recruiting, equipping, and managing various hunting parties. Star is known as a reckless gambler, and owns a raucous ale house known for its excessive gambling activities.

About 9 km to the north of the village lies the Watcher Islands. A fortress is said to be somewhere on one of the islands, and is believed to be the stronghold of a notorious outlaw.

During the winter of 4689 a mysterious fire broke out in the warehouses near the southern docks. The damage was extensive and when no culprit could be identified it was ruled a misfortune.

In the spring of 4680 a large group of bandits attacked the Small Hall of the Guild of Furriers and got away with a large fortune in trade bars and coins. The robbery took place just days after the guild officers returned from Savimasko following a major delivery of furs, laden with coin. Some reports stated that the criminals fled in a cog which was anchored in the harbour, while other accounts noted a posse of horsemen fled east towards Ironedge. Since this attack, a military presence has been maintained in the village.
