Greywynne lies on the plains of eastern Kirvan on the banks of a small lake, the Grey Lake. The lake is formed by the plunge of the beautiful Babski Falls, which shrouds the area in a gentle mist. The falls and lake punctuates the Saraborne River.

The village is the hub of a network of secondary roads, shadowing the distant (and far swifter) Royal Road. Many travellers and road merchants stop here, and inns, stables, wainwrights, etc. are common.

The village leader, Johnus Sandflats, is well-liked and has quite a reputation as a storyteller and composer.

Agriculture and herding occupies much of the villager’s resources. The main agricultural activity is the cultivation and processing of fruit. Limeferns and red mushrooms are cultivated on the banks of the Saraborne. Large cotton fields cover the relatively flat lands to the north-east, from which yarn and cloth is made.

Councillor Zoe Kettle oversees the annual harvest festival, which is a welcome celebration of the past year’s crops.

Greywynne is home to the local gladiatorial champion, Battler Elyjah Burg, whose family runs a blacksmithy. He has established a reputation for himself as a master armourer.
