The Priory lies in the Second Province of Razim, 8 km from the village of Lightfield.
It was founded in 4512 by the Duchess of Toreen as a home for orphans. She funded the construction of a miniature village, complete with crafters workshops and other industrial concerns, with the intention of local mentor-based training. Her experiment proved to be a fantastic success and the settlement rapidly expanded. The settlement’s All-Gods temple attracted clergy from across Kalderesh, and over time it was decided to expand the All-Gods, instead of building multiple individual temples.
Eventually, the All-Gods transformed into a Priory, with monastic buildings supporting the work of a fully-fledged monastery. This is a unique religious institution in Kalderesh, with clerics of the Seven working together for the welfare of the destitute youth.
Today, it is a thriving community, with several large hostels, schools, and fair grounds. The number of hostels have grown over the years, and have merged with the original buildings that formed the core of the little village. About 1,000 children can be accommodated and homed. They come from all over Kalderesh, although most intakes are from the big cities.
