Rishmont, established in 4587, is a mid-sized town at the mouth of the Rishpin, which flows through the Big Valley.
The settlement exists mainly to serve as a transportation hub for the wine industry. It is essentially an extensive shallow, marshy harbour with accommodation for the carters and haulers who live and work there. Barges transport grapes and wine from the numerous farms in the valley to Rishmont, where they are shipped to Londesh for processing and distribution.
The town elder is Hanna Capman, a master locksmith and fine-metal worker.
