Aldwynne is a small settlement near Torbeck, aside the Royal Road, between the Baro Hills and Aldwynne Swamp.

It developed slowly around a mighty bridge carrying the Royal Road across the Aldbeck, hence it’s official name, “Aldwynne Crossing”.

When rich mines were discovered in the Baro Hills to the north, the hamlet experienced a growth spurt which sustains it to this day.

The town elder is Thalia Swimmer, a skilled craftsman. She is assisted by first councillor Jaedyn Byrch, who is in charge of the town guard, identified by the red sashes they wear while on duty.

Several charming inns are found in the village. A local Qidranian leads popular excursions into the Aldwynne Swamp.

Light agriculture, herding, and fishing provides for the needs of the community.
