The free city of Stonemoor lies in north-central Toreen, in the foothills of the Barobur Mountains, on a broad plain known as the Crystal Shimmers.
The city is famous for its immense central fort, able to resist even the most fervid attacks from giants, which are common in the surroundings. Groks, gorns and other monstrous beasts infest the region, and no road leads to or from Stonemoor.
At the time of this writing, the city lord is Master Crispin. It is said that he is the world expert on ancient history. Little else is known about Stonemoor, other than that a prominent Temple of Arawn is located in the city centre.
